Francesca, The Great and Terrible: A Reverse Harem Academy Romance Page 12
I bolted from the doorway and gave Galen a big hug. I might not be ready to invite him to my bed or all that sure about how I felt about him, but I’d already decided I was going to get him used to hugs. Galen actually wrapped his arms around my waist and gave me a light squeeze this time instead of standing there like a stone. It was a start. Galen turned and shut his door, and I was left alone with Idris and Oprix.
My body was still on fire, and I wanted both of them. I’d been putting this off because I didn’t want to pick who went first, but why put it off? Why couldn’t we just talk it out like we did everything else? Daxar lit the flame, and I wanted Idris and Oprix to put it out.
“You two, naked. Our bedroom, now,” I ordered.
I didn’t need to tell them twice. They both went scrambling towards our bedroom. I was naked by the time I got the door shut. Idris and Oprix hung around our bedroom in just trousers, so they were already naked and ready for me. I had all these ideas in my head. We just had to get the hard part out of the way. How did I pick?
“I want to have sex. We could die in the North. I just don’t know how to pick who goes first.”
Idris crashed on the bed and regarded me with hooded eyes. “Easy. Kazax pulled me aside, and I talked to Oprix. The way it works with the Flying Monkeys is that the higher-ranking member of the group watches the lower ranking mate to make sure he satisfies the queen. He watches and learns what went wrong, then takes over from there to make sure she is satisfied. I guess I outrank Oprix when it comes to Flying Monkeys. I’m okay with him going first, and so is he. We can do that, but I think Oprix knows what you like.”
I could deal with that if they were both okay with it, but we were doing it my way. I didn’t want Oprix to think Idris was watching him and judging him. I knew he wouldn’t be, but the way he phrased it put that out into the world. I grabbed Oprix and pulled him into bed with us.
“Can you watch Oprix with your cock in my mouth?” I asked, biting his nipple.
Idris growled and pulled my braids. “What did you have in mind?”
“I don’t want anyone left out. I want Oprix to make love to me while I have you in my mouth.”
Oprix snuggled into my back and kissed my neck. “You don’t have to do this just because we are going to the North, Frankie.”
“No, I’ve been wanting to. I just didn’t know how to talk about who went first.”
Oprix started nibbling on my ear while his hand cupped my breast from behind. Idris slipped his hand between my legs and was making lazy circles on my clit.
“You can talk to us about anything, Frankie,” Oprix said.
“You can’t put off talking to us, Francesca. If you want something, you have to tell us.”
“Wait! We have to stop before we get started.”
I jumped out of bed and ran to my trousers for the vial Daxar gave me. Oprix and Idris were both lying on the bed, looking confused.
“It’s okay if you want to change your mind, Frankie,” Oprix said.
“I’m not,” I said, digging through my pockets. “I just need to find something Daxar gave me, so I don’t get pregnant.”
“But you do want to eventually, right?” Oprix asked. “I imagine little children with a combination of our features.”
“Do you think our kids would be able to shift into monkeys?” Idris asked.
My fingers closed around the vial, and I yanked it out my pocket. “We have time to think about that. We can’t think about kids until we figure out how to stop the Fisher King. We have to save Glinda first.”
“No, we have to make you our queen first,” Idris growled. “What does that vial do?”
There was a searing pain as the silver disc burned its way into my arm, then I felt nothing except the desire. Idris and Oprix saw the look on my face. They both held their arms open, and I went diving in.
We were this big pile of writhing bodies on the bed, touching kissing. I was frantic. I couldn’t get enough of either one of them. I would be kissing Oprix, then Idris would tug me into his arms, and I would be kissing Idris. I was between their two hard bodies, and it felt like there were a million hands on my body.
Oprix was between my legs, swirling my clit with his tongue and thrusting his fingers inside me. Idris was biting my nipples and growling. His goatee was scratching the sensitive skin on my breasts. We’d been experimenting every night since the first night we got naked together, and we were slowly learning each other’s bodies. What I didn’t know, Idris or Oprix was able to tell me.
“Stop, stop,” I panted.
Oprix looked up from between my thighs, and Idris rested his head on my chest and listened to my heart.
“Let’s do this. Make love to me.”

I
had no idea what everyone else’s first time having sex was like. There wasn’t any sex in the books at my mother’s castle. Oprix’s mother and sister liked romance novels, but I never picked one up because I was too busy training. If I wanted to read, I read spell books I managed to take from my mother’s castle, or I borrowed something from Oprix so we could talk about it later. Now, I wished I’d talked about boys with Oprix’s sister.
Was it like this with everyone? None of us knew what we were doing. Idris and Oprix knew boy talk, but they had no experience. Neither did I. We’d just done a lot of exploring and talking that led us to this point. I learned that from Daxar. We talked about what we did and didn’t like. We talked about things that were uncomfortable or hurt. It was totally possible to hurt a dick, and I wanted to punch Idris in the face the first time he used his fingers inside me. It pinched, and I bled, but he kept insisting that was how it worked, and if he did it again, it would actually feel good. I thought he was full of shit, but trust, right? I could always punch him the second time.
I was right to trust him. I could always trust my boys. It was how we got to tonight. A cock was so much better than fingers now that I was used to it. Oprix was behind me, and I had Idris in my mouth. Okay, maybe it was a little awkward my first time. Oprix spent the first ten minutes asking if I was okay, which was hard to answer because I was trying to suck Idris’ cock.
The mood finally caught up with Oprix, and he found his rhythm. He was passionate and gentle, easing a huge orgasm out of me. Oprix would always take care of me. I could tell from the noises behind me he was trying to wait for me. It was beautiful when he finally let go when I did.
Oprix collapsed on my back, and we just held each other for a little while. We whispered sweet words about how much we loved each other. Oprix was more of a poet than I was. I knew spells, curses, hexes, and swear words. I liked reading poetry, but I wasn’t very good at crafting it. It was nice hearing Oprix tell me he loved me that way.
Idris was totally Idris when it was his turn. He scooped me up and took me standing up. I was positioned so that Oprix could kneel in front of us and tongue my clit. Idris was wild. He had a death grip under both of my knees and was bouncing me on his cock. He was growling and biting my neck the entire time.
Where it was slow and passionate with Oprix, it was hard and intense with Idris. The fact that Oprix was in front of me using his tongue had my entire body shaking. I was sure everyone in our rooms could hear me shrieking. Idris wasn’t much better. When he had his release, he threw back his head and let out a huge monkey roar.
If Saffron and Galen weren’t aware we just had a fuck fest in our bedroom, they knew now. I kind of didn’t care. I was twenty-one-years-old. Most girls my age that weren’t Sentinels were either in serious relationships or already married by now. I wasn’t going to apologize for the noises in my bedroom tonight. In fact, I intended to make them again if we all survived rescuing Glinda in the North.
The door had been opened now, and now I wanted to know what this was like with Daxar. I was also a little curious what it would be like to kiss Galen.

sp; hid my smile as we all gathered in the throne room again to make our preparations to go North. Francesca and her boys were glowing and touching each other more, and Saffron and Galen looked like they’d been kept awake all night. I didn’t need to draw a map to know what they had gotten up to last night. I was proud of her for getting over her fears and taking that step.
We had a lot of steps to take before we were ready to take on Locasta in the North. From what Galen reported, his father still lived in his prison, but it was in the North near the Deadly Desert. It was built into some of the mountains the dragons lived in, but a different mountain range than the Flying Monkey court lived on. Galen thought there would be a place in Locasta’s castle that the Fisher King was able to teleport to and from and that Locasta was supplying him with potion ingredients.
Galen was a fascinating boy now that I’d spent time in the North and met him. I wondered if the dragons were awake when he was hunting for his father. To have survived living with the Fisher King that long was a feat. To have escaped him alive to be here with us telling us his secrets had to be close to a miracle.
Francesca and I had a lot of work to do, and it was painful work. Frabess knew how to disable magical alarms without Glinda imparting that knowledge, but she didn’t know how to do a knowledge transference spell. Glinda could have taught her, but she couldn’t have used it to teach Saffron. It just wasn’t done with Sentinels.
I think we all warned Ozma enough. There was an entire table full of sweets, and sofas had been brought in for people to recover on. Ozma insisted on us doing the spell to Dorothy even though Dorothy had no magic. It couldn’t hurt. She had to have something about her that she kept ending up here. I didn’t think it was magic, but she did manage to kill two Sentinels by accident, so she had something about her, either good luck or bad. I just hadn’t decided yet.
Ozma volunteered to go first. I knew she would. She was going to make quite the queen when she could stop pretending to be Glinda’s niece. She put on a brave face, and she would only trust Francesca to do the spell. I could see them both grimacing as their headaches grew. No one wanted to volunteer until they saw what happened to Ozma.
Disabling magical alarms was tricky magic. You had to set spells to amplify your senses to spot them, but they had to be natural magic that wouldn’t set off the alarms. Disabling the alarm itself wasn’t that hard. It was spotting it and getting to it without setting it off that was the problem. You had to look at the threads to see what it was keyed to as well. Magical alarms could be keyed to good magic if a bad sorcerer didn’t want to get caught.
Ozma looked like she was about the faint before Francesca finally took her hand off her forehead. Dorothy helped her to a sofa and already had a plate of sweets waiting.
“What a horrible spell,” Ozma groaned. “I’d thought I could use it since I was raised with Mombi, and she didn’t teach me anything, but I see why the Sentinels don’t do it.”
Dorothy brushed her hair off her forehead. Yeah, those two were definitely dating. I thought it was adorable. Maybe Ozma would start a sexual revolution in Oz and free up some of the more prudish areas.
Since Francesca had already done a lot of work doing the spell on the people in her rooms, we just had a few people to go. I didn’t think it was wise to bring Emari and Emarus along since they were ill-trained, but Emarus was insisting on coming since Saffron was, and no one had told him no.
We all had raging headaches by the time we transferred all of the spells. I didn’t leave it there. I made everyone rest, and once Dorothy, Emari, Emarus, and Ozma recovered, I had those of us that knew how transfer fight training to them. That was pretty much Francesca and me.
I had hoped we could all leave by the end of the afternoon, but we were all too out of it. Our heads were hurting too badly, and we were shoving sugar in our faces like our lives depended on it.
We’d need time to recover, and then we were going to save Glinda.

think this was a battle none of us were looking forward to. Ozma was bringing some of her armies. She trusted the Private and two of the Captains from their journey to beat the Nome King. I thought it would blow up in our faces, but they were able to give out the story they were going back home for a bit and sneak off with us.
Once I saw them around Ozma, I knew they had been doing a lot of sneaking around. Ozma took lovers like I did if I had to guess. She had Dorothy, Dixius, the Winkie Private, and Ethar and Aldor, the Quadling Captains practically eating out of her hands. It gave me a huge headache, but I didn’t rest until the men from the Emerald City military had a knowledge transference spell teaching them to use a weapon.
We were all sitting together on the sofas trying to recover from all the spells we had either done or had done to us. My headache got a thousand times worse when someone started pounding on the throne room door, and I could hear yelling. What now? Didn’t we send word not to be disturbed?
Professor Ixius came stumbling in. He was drunk again. Daxar got up and met him to talk where we couldn’t hear. He turned to look at me. I was sitting in a huge pile of Idris and Oprix, and whatever it was, I didn’t want to move.
“Francesca, come with me.”
I knew that voice. That was the you are in trouble voice. What had I done this time? I’d been in the throne room getting shit done. Ixius was still standing next to Daxar, shifting his weight on his feet.
“Take him to my office and wait,” Daxar ordered.
Ixius went scurrying out, and I had about a million questions for Daxar. He wasn’t mad at me. He looked down at me with an amused smile.
“Francesca, did you, or did you not break Todus’ nose while I was away?”
I groaned. “Please don’t tell me his father is here in the middle of all this in the North.”
Daxar kissed the tip of my nose. “Remember the diplomatic part of your training. I’ll explain to Todus’ father who the Sentinels really are, and then you can come in and pretend to apologize. We both know Todus deserved it. Give me a five-minute head start, then join me.”
I sighed. I guess this was my first test on Daxar’s training. If I could get through a meeting with Todus’ father without breaking his face too, then I was progressing in my lessons with Daxar. I had a feeling this was going to be harder than any lesson I learned here at Emerald City Academy.
He had a lot to say to me, I’m sure, but I had a lot to say to him too. I needed to fix the East, so Saffron had a place to go back home to. I’d listen to him. I’d deal with what he had to say to me. But he was going to have to listen to me too because his entire region was fucked up.
When I got up to Daxar’s office, the door was shut, and Ixius was slumped in a chair outside the door.
“He said to wait until he sends for you.”
There was an extra chair on the other side of the door, so I just flopped in it and waited. I didn’t even try to cast a spell to listen in on the other side of the door. Daxar had wards against that. I’d seen them my first time in his office when I was taking in my surroundings. Unless Daxar had spoken to someone else, he didn’t know what Galen had told us about the East. I was the one that needed to be in there talking to him.
It was so unattractive, but the longer I saw out there, the longer I pouted. It felt like Daxar was trying to talk for me. I could explain myself just fine. I could explain the situation with the Sentinels better than Daxar could because it happened to me, not him. I couldn’t wait anymore. Did Daxar think he was taking my punishment for me? I was a big girl.
I jumped up and flung the door open. Daxar and Todus’ father were both lounging in chairs drinking Quadling port and laughing. The Munchkin’s eyes were twinkling when he turned to look at me.
“You got that temper from your mother. Please, sit. Can I hug you?”
What the fuck? Did he intend to stick a knife in my back while he hugged me? Daxar just chuckled like he knew exactly what I was
thinking.
“You’re going to have to explain to her, Pridius.”
“You aren’t pissed I punched your son in the face?”
Why did he look amused with everything I said?
“I was at first. I came here to have you expelled and thrown in jail. I know exactly why you did it now. Can I explain?”
“Please do, because it seems like you are laughing at me.”
“I’m not, dear girl. I promise. I didn’t know Azami had a daughter. She kept you from me. I avoided her when she visited Adora in the East, so I never saw you. I was married when I met your mother. Todus was just a baby, and I got called to business in the West. Your mother had to mediate between me and some Winkie farmers. I fell in love with her, but I had a family back home I couldn’t leave. I had no idea I’d apparently started a family with Azami too. You and Todus don’t get along because of sibling rivalry. He’s like that with his sisters.”
My mouth hung open, and I had no idea what to say. I’d never thought about meeting my father before. I never wondered about him and what his story was that he wasn’t in the West with us. I guess I never cared. I always told myself if he loved us enough, he would have been there with us.
Here I was staring at him, and I didn’t have the slightest idea what to say to him. No wonder everyone was so much taller than me. I was half fucking Munchkin. I was trying to remember all the good things about the Munchkins because right now, all I had were bad memories of them.
“Francesca, Daxar told me what Todus has been doing at this school, and I don’t condone it. I sent him here to straighten him out. Daxar also told me you saved his life anyway. I can’t tell you how much that means to me. I hope when all this is over, and you save Oz, you’ll come back to the East and meet the rest of your half-siblings.”
Okay, here was the anger. “What about your wife? Won’t she find out about your little tryst with my mother?”
